Discover Vin Vineyards: Argentina’s High-Altitude Gem in Los Chacayes
Welcome to Vin Vineyards, set in the heart of Los Chacayes, one of the Uco Valley’s most esteemed wine regions. Our high-altitude estate, ranging from 1170–1220 meters above sea level, combines Mendoza’s legendary terroir with a passionate commitment to premium winemaking.

Location:
Nestled between 1170 and 1220 MASL, Vin Vineyards benefits from cool nights and warm days. This climate harmony enhances ripe flavors and finesse, making our grapes—and wines—truly extraordinary.
Terroir:
Formed by alluvial fans from the Andes, our soils are incredibly diverse:
-
Sandy-clay soils offer superb drainage, ideal for healthy vines.
-
Near the Tunuyán River, boulder-like stones and large blocks (some over 1 meter diameter) are layered with calcium carbonate.
-
Porphyry and granite stones from the Frontal Mountain Range further enrich our vineyard’s complexity.
This rich soil profile gives every bottle a distinctive character, showcasing Los Chacayes’s mineral intensity.
Climate:
Los Chacayes boasts stable weather, minimal hail/frost risk, and a high thermal range (summer highs above 30°C, cool nights around 5°C). With low clouds, strong evaporation, and 320mm average rain (similar to neighboring Vista Flores), the conditions are ideal for growing expressive grapes.
Geographical Indication & Quality:
In 2017, Los Chacayes was granted official Geographical Indication (GI) status—protected under Argentine law (Law No. 25.163). Our wines reflect this origin’s true authenticity and quality, giving consumers confidence in every sip.
