NEW YORK GIN SOUR

A sophisticated floral twist on the classic New York Sour! Juniper Bird’s botanical gin blends with triple sec, lime juice, violet syrup, maraschino liqueur, and egg white for a velvety shaken base. The elegant float of Pinot Noir and a mist of absinthe add layers of depth, finished with edible flowers as garnish—making each glass a work of art.

Ingredients:

  • 5 cl Juniper Bird

  • 2 cl Triple Sec

  • 2.5 cl lime juice

  • 1.5 cl violet syrup

  • Bar spoon of maraschino liqueur

  • Egg white (or foamer)

  • Pinot Noir (float)

  • Absinthe spray

  • Garnish: Edible flowers

Instructions:

  1. Shake gin, triple sec, lime juice, violet syrup, maraschino liqueur, and egg white with ice until frothy and chilled.

  2. Strain into a chilled tumbler over fresh ice.

  3. Gently float Pinot Noir over the back of a bar spoon for a dramatic layered effect.

  4. Garnish with edible flowers and mist the top with a spray of absinthe.
