Pomegranate Passion Fruit Rum Fizz

A festive, fruit-forward sparkler—gold rum and elderflower liqueur pair with passionfruit, tangy pomegranate, and sparkling rosé. Hidden pomegranate arils add a burst of flavor and color, making this cocktail perfect for celebrations or romantic evenings.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp pomegranate arils (divided)

  • 4 oz Kōloa Gold Rum

  • 2 oz elderflower liqueur

  • 2 oz passionfruit syrup

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • 2 oz pomegranate juice

  • 2 tsp simple syrup (optional, for more sweetness)

  • Sparkling rosé (to top)

Garnish

  • Mint sprigs

  • Extra pomegranate arils

Instructions

  1. Muddle 2 tbsp pomegranate arils in the bottom of each of two collins glasses. Fill glasses with ice.

  2. In a shaker with ice, add rum, elderflower liqueur, passionfruit syrup, lime juice, and pomegranate juice. Shake until well chilled.

  3. Pour into prepared glasses. Top with sparkling rosé.

  4. Garnish each with a few pomegranate arils and a fresh mint sprig. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version: substitute rum and elderflower liqueur with equal parts lychee juice and white grape or apple juice; top with lemon-lime soda instead of sparkling rosé.
